Victoria Fire and Rescue Co., Inc. is currently recruiting for an EMS provider. The tour of duty for this position will be 18 hours a day/3 days a week, typically from 0000-1800, but the hours may be adjusted as needed to meet the mission of the department.

Examples of typical duties may include but are not limited to the following:

Emergency response,

Vehicle and equipment checkouts,

Custodial responsibilities (interior and exterior),

Administrative responsibilities,

Public education and awareness, and

Other assignments as may be deemed necessary to accomplish the mission.

Job requirements:

Commonwealth of Virginia EMT (minimum requirement)

Ability to be released by the OMD to serve as AIC if not already accomplished

Emergency Vehicle Operator Course Class 2 (minimum requirement)

Valid Virginia driver’s license
